TRANSISTORISED RELAY MODULE PART No. SS1-L

12 volt dc supply. 2 pairs of voltage-free changeover contacts. Contacts rated 2 amps @ 12/24 volts. Contact material gold over silver alloy. Suitable for switching low voltages and low currents. Much used in the security industry for switching sounders, strobes, remote signalling and many other applications.

The SS1-L relay module has two transistorised inputs;  a positive and a negative one which can both be used simultaneously (eg., for latching purposes). The transistorised inputs will trigger from 5 or 12 volts (many communicator outputs only give 5 volts!) These inputs (being transistorised) draw very low current and avoid overloading the trigger source device.

Many of our customers use the SS1-L  as a compatible replacement for the CASTLE CARE-TECH ZA200 and ZA300 U-relays.

These modules are built and tested to a high standard in the UK by STS. Two adhesive-backed mounting feet included.
